Patralekha lives with her manipulative stepfather Prithvi. She is deeply in love with a famous poet, Vaibhav, to whom she has written 399 letters. However, Vaibhav always busy with his career never got the chance to read them, and thus never replied.
Prithvi, for his own business gain, fixes Patralekha’s marriage with a man named Raunak. On the day of the wedding, Vaibhav is performing his poetry show in the same city. Patralekha gathers courage and runs away from her wedding to meet him.
But before she could reach Vaibhav, Prithvi captures her and burns her alive in a hut deep inside a forest. By fate’s grace, Vaibhav arrives just in time and rescues her.
After six months
Patralekha undergoes plastic surgery, but the trauma causes her to lose her memory. Vaibhav becomes her guardian, gives her a new identity Aarohi and she begins living with him. Over time, Aarohi falls deeply in love with Vaibhav.
But when Vaibhav finally reads the bundle of 399 heartfelt letters, he realizes that his true love was always Patralekha.
Then, a girl arrives claiming to be Patralekha, looking exactly like her. Believing her to be the real one, Vaibhav marries her. Aarohi is shattered.
At this low point, Vaibhav’s cousin Mayank supports her. Their bond grows stronger, and they eventually get married. Aarohi genuinely falls in love with Mayank.Then fate strikes again.
Aarohi suddenly regains her lost memory and realizes that she is the real Patralekha. Meanwhile, the fake Patralekha also regains her true identity the result of Prithvi’s old conspiracy and memory manipulation.
Now the story stands at a thrilling new turning point, Whom will the real Patralekha choose Vaibhav or Mayank ?.
